EARLY IDAHO SONGS OF THE MONTH - October 2011

This rare song about the experiences of African Americans appeared around 1970 on noted folklorist Barre Toelken's LP recording A Garland of American Folksongs. Toelken conjectured the song was sung at the gold and silver mines in central Idaho.
